The Negligent Operator Treatment System (NOTS) is the process of warnings, hearings and punishments that the state may use in the case of negligent operators. NOTS only applies to drivers over 18.

Under VC Section 12810, the state generally assigns points to any traffic ticket conviction in Tulare County. Below is an example of each category:
